Overview

The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc.CSIT) program at Far Western University (FWU) in Nepal is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in computer science and information technology. This program Affiliated from Far-Western University with 4 year programs and divided into 8 semesters. The courses aims to provide necessary knowledge in the field of functional knowledge of hardware systems and the and necessary knowledge of computer software systems.

Program Objectives

->To prepare students for careers in software development, network administration, database management, and other IT-related fields.

Eligibility for admission:
The prospective students applying for B.Sc.CSIT program should have :
Successfully passed the entrance exam conducted by department securing at least 35 %
marks.
Candidate must secure at least C grade in each subject in grade system
Successfully completed a 12 years of education in science stream or equivalent from any
university, board or institutions recognized by FU,with at least 2nd division or higher.
Students who have passed+2 science with biological group are also eligible
