Supervisions are the cornerstone of the Aadim College for degree. If you are on an undergraduate course, you will have between one and four of these intensive, small-group sessions each week, allowing you to discuss your work in detail with an exportin the field, and consolidate your learning. At Aadim College, we devote considerable time and energy to recruiting the best supervisors for our students, from right across the University. But we don’t neglect other forms of teaching. First-years returning to formal study participate in pre-BA ‘prep’ sessions; undergraduates in larger subjects have classes, designed to complement the lectures and seminars on offer in Faculties; post graduates benefit from regular skills development workshops, covering everything from time management to thesis structure.
We are dedicated to helping you achieve your potential. With this in mind, we provide a wide range of support services to make your time inside and outside the classroom easier and more enjoyable.
We offer a online Career Coach service, which is designed to provide you with the most current local data on wages, employment, job postings and relevant training on hundreds of potential careers. For more information, please visit: www.aadimcollege.edu.np
We work closely with local employers and an organization called Learning to Work to offer students structured work experience programs and internships, which will enable you to gain a valuable insight into real work environments
Volunteering in the community is a great way to complement your studies and enhance your CV. It is also a rewarding way to meet new people and develop a range of essential skills. We work in partnership with local voluntary organizations to provide placements for students. You can be as flexible as you like and do it around exams, work and your social life. The opportunities are almost endless – from Kathmandu to Karnali and outside country as well.
We have an exciting innovation programme, which offers you the chance to work collaboratively with students from other subject areas to develop new business ideas and inventions. Guided by the College’s Incubation Center’s Experts, you will be able to work with local employers, industry experts and some of the latest technology to bring your ideas to life. The project will enable you to develop your entrepreneurial skills and some students will even have the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of business leaders.
