Supervisions are the cornerstone of the Charumati Campus for degree. If you are on an undergraduate course, you will have between one and four of theseintensive, small-group sessions each week, allowing you to discuss your work in detail with an expertin the field, and consolidate your learning. At Charumati Campus, wedevote considerable timeand energy to recruitingthe best supervisors for our students, from right acrossthe University. But wedon’t neglect other formsof teaching. First-yearsreturning to formal studyparticipate in pre-BA ‘prep’sessions; undergraduates in larger subjects haveclasses, designed tocomplement the lecturesand seminars on offer in Faculties; postgraduatesbenefit from regular skillsdevelopment workshops, covering everything fromtime management tothesis structure.

We work closely with local employers and an organization called Learning to Work to offer students structured work experience programmes and internships, which will enable you to gain a valuable insight into real work environments
Volunteering in the community is a great way to complement your studies and enhance your CV. It is also a rewarding way to meet new people and develop a range of essential skills. We work in partnership with local voluntary organizations to provide placements for students. You can be as flexible as you like and do it around exams, work and your social life. The opportunities are almost endless – from Kathmandu to Karnali and outside country as well.
Innovation and entrepreneurship
We have an exciting innovation programme, which offers you the chance to work collaboratively with students from other subject areas to develop new business ideas and inventions. Guided by the College’s Incubation Center’s Experts, you will be able to work with local employers, industry experts and some of the latest technology to bring your ideas to life. The project will enable you to develop your entrepreneurial skills and some students will even have the chance to pitch their ideas to a panel of business leaders.

Our professionally qualified careers advisers are always on hand to help you plan for your future, whether it’s going to university, continuing at college or finding a job. They can also help you access lots of information and materials to ensure you get all the details and guidance you need. Whatever your age, goals or experience, our advisers will be happy to help.
We have careers advisers available through out the year to help you obtain part-time work to support your self while you study or find full-time employment on leaving college. Our advisers can provide you with:
